On the occasion of the participation of the Republic of Croatia at the 2021 Olympic Games in Japan, Yoko Nishii, Japanese pianist, gave a concert in the city of Tokamachi. The city is marked with Japan Croatia Friendship House, as a special sign of friendship between the two countries.
The concert took place in Echigo Tsumari Auditorium "Danjuro" in Tokamachi-City, Niigata, Japan.

At the beginning of the concert, there was an introduction about the Croatia Host Town Project in Tokamachi City, followed by warm messages from Mr. Zlatko Mateša, the President of the Croatian Olympic Committee and His Excellency Dražen Hrastić, the Croatian Ambassador to Japan, who were not able to attend the concert.
