 1337bit Ltd. (pronounced Elite Bit) has created a new exciting iPhone game that is based around the old Easter family tradition of egg tapping around the Easter breakfast table. The old Easter tradition of Egg tapping for Easter breakfast involves family members sitting around the Easter breakfast table tapping painted hard boiled Easter eggs into each other.

Borivoj Dovniković is recipient of numerous awards at international festivals of animated films. Retrospectives of his films have been shown in about fifty cities throughout the world.  He was a member of international juries and selection committees at twenty five festivals, and participated on various forums dealing with animated films, from the USA and Canada to Korea, China and Japan.

Maestro Vladimir Krpan, born on January 11, 1938, is distinguished Croatian pianist and professor at the Academy of Music in Zagreb. Among his former students are such celebrities like Maksim Mrvica and Martina Filjak. The King of Dolls Ljeposlav Perinić 1922-2005 was born in the city of Split, Croatia. After 1945 he lived in Argentina. His collection comprises dolls in national costumes donated by kings, queens, presidents, first ladies and prime ministers from about 120 countries. Branko Katalinić, professor of robotics at the Technical University in Vienna, Austria, has founded a prestigeous international association DAAAM in 1990. In 2009 the 20th annual conference of DAAAM has been organized in Vienna. Among the past conferences, four of them have been organized in Croatia: in Dubrovnik, twice in Opatija and in Zadar. The DAAAM comprises more than fifty member states and hundreds of international organizations.

The home town of professor Matko Marušić is Split, on the Adriatic coast, some 200 miles south of Zagreb; that is where his parents lived, and what he calls "home". Interestingly, more than 40 years later, in 2008, he returned to live and work in Split, where he today serves as the Dean of the University of Split School of Medicine. We provide an excerpt from his 630-page anthology of 31 humorous stories about medicine.

Dear children and parents, if you have recently noticed that your favourite teddy bear, horsy or other toy is coughing, or his tummy hurts, bring him to the doctor on Tuesday June 16th, 9 a.m. at Flower Square, Zagreb! The project is aimed for children 3-6 years of age, to teach healthy children not to be afraid of a physician: doctors and healing are presented in a way comprehensive to children, through "healing" children's toys.
