Places of performances of Dialogos Ensemble, Paris, directed by Katarina Livljanić: New York City (Feb. 18th),  Wellesley College (Feb. 20th), Vancouver (Feb. 22nd), Kansas City (Feb. 24th). Tondal's vision is an Irish legend from 12th century, which in the 15th century became a part of the Croatian Glagolitic literature (The Petris Miscellany, 1468).

  The acclaimed Dialogos will offer a most unusual concert: "Tondal's Vision," a twelfth-century musical play about an unconscious knight whose soul leaves his body. Performed by Dialogos's six female singers, this production of Dalmatian medieval music is semi-staged with supertitles.

Croatia has been my second home for nearly three decades. I learned to cook from my mother-in-law, in the tiny kitchen, two blocks from Zagreb's bustling, colorful open market. She taught me that the key to any successful dish began with selecting the freshest ingredients, preferrably local. Herbs and spices were also important.
