As part of its Early Music Series, Dialogos will perform the drama in a semi-staged, multi-media performance.
"Their singing is luminous". Since its foundation in 1997. Dialogos, the vocal ensemble directed by Katarina Livljanic, has emerged as one of the most expressive and original medieval music ensembles of today. Katarina Livlanjac, singer and musicologist, is one of the principal international specialists in the medieval chant performance. Born on the Adriatic coast of Croatia, she decided to become a medieval music performer at a very early age, training at the Zagreb Music conservatory before moving to France to study voice. She directs this music ensemble that specializes in medieval chant and liturgical theater of the Glagolitic tradition. Their CDs include Chant Wars, Terra Adriatica, and La Vision of Tondal.
Tickets are on sale now for $25 for adults, children under 18 are free, and student and educator discounts available. A special ticket discount will be available for members of St. Johns Croatian Catholic Church.
