Srdjan Bulat wins again


Gitarist Srđan Bulat ponovno osvaja - na netom održanom međunarodnom gitarističkom natjecanju 'Michele Pittaluga' u Alessandriji u Italiij, Srđan je osvojio drugu nagradu te nagradu za najmlađeg finalista! Ovo natjecanje jedno je od najvažnijih i najdugovječnijih natjecanja za klasičnu gitaru u svijetu koje se već 43 godine održava u talijanskom gradu Alessandriji, pod visokim pokroviteljstvom predsjednika Republike Italije. Na ovogodišnjem izdanju natjecanja nastupilo je 30 gitarista iz cijelog svijeta, među kojima su se našli pobjednici
svih najvažnijih svjetskih gitarističkih natjecanja u posljednjih nekoliko godina (GFA, Parkening, Vina del Mar, Benicasim, Almeria, Rim, Printemps de la Guitare, Rodrigo, Segovia itd.). Iznimno visoka razina natjecanja odrazila se i u kvaliteti finala u kojemu su po prvi put u 43 godine sva tri sudionika već bili laureati ovog natjecanja. Prvu nagradu osvojila je Španjolka Anabel Montesinos, a treću Kyu-hee Park iz Južne Koreje.


SRĐAN BULAT, rođen 20. listopada 1986. godine u Splitu, student je pete godine gitare na Muzičkoj akademiji u Zagrebu u klasi prof. Darka Petrinjaka. Dobitnik je Dekanove nagrade, priznanja Summa cum laude za najboljeg studenta generacije s najvišim prosjekom ocjena, te Rektorove nagrade Sveučilišta u Zagrebu za akademsku godinu 2009./2010. Osvajač je brojnih državnih i međunarodnih nagrada, od kojih se najviše ističu prva nagrada na natjecanju Europska glazbena nagrada za mlade (Dubrovnik, 2004.), prve nagrade na jakim
međunarodnim natjecanjima 'Split guitar festival' u Splitu i 'Fernando Sor' u Rimu, 2008. godine, te nagrade na trenutno najprestižnijim međunarodnim natjecanjima za klasičnu gitaru: treća nagrada na natjecanju 'Michele Pittaluga' u Allesandriji (Italija, 2008.), druga nagrada na natjecanju 'Francisco Tarrega' u Benicassimu (Španjolska, 2009.), tri nagrade na ovogodišnjem izdanjuj natjecanja 'Alhambra' u španjolskom gradu Valenciji:  druga nagrada stručnog žirija, nagrada publike i nagrada za najbolju interpretaciju španjolske glazbe, te
prva nagrada i nagrada za najbolju izvedbu španjolske glazbe (djela Isaaca Albeniza bila su zadani program) na međunarodnom natjecanju 'Julian Arcas' u Almeriji, također 2010. godine.

U rujnu 2009. godine osvojio je prvu nagradu na međunarodnom natjecanju mladih glazbenika 'Ferdo Livadić'  u Samoboru za najbolji solistički recital natjecanja, te je kao dio nagrade  23. 09. 2010. god. u Samoboru praizveo Koncert za gitaru, udaraljke i gudače koji je za njega napisao naš istaknuti skladatelj Željko Brkanović. Dobitnik je Rektorove nagrade Sveučilišta u Splitu, gdje je završio prve tri godine studija gitare na Umjetničkoj akademiji u klasi prof. Gorana Listeša.

Guitarist Srdjan Bulat wins again – at the recently held Michele Pittaluga International Classic Guitar competition in Alessandria, Italy, Srdjan won second prize and the prize for youngest finalist! This competition is one of the most important and longest running  competitions for classical guitar in the world which has been held for 43 years in the Italian town of Alessandria, under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Italy. At this year's competition 30 guitarists from around the world, who found themselves among the winners of all major international guitar competitions in recent years (GFA, Parkening, Vina del Mar, Benicasim, Almeria, Rome, Printemps de la Guitare, Rodrigo, Segovia etc.). The high levels of competition were reflected in the quality of the finals, in which for the first time in 43 years all but three participants were winners of this competition. First prize was won by Spain's Anabel Montesinos, and third-Kyu Hee Park of South Korea.

SRDJAN BULAT was born on October 20, 1986 in Split, and he is a fifth year student at the Zagreb Musical Academy  Professor under the tutelage of Darko Petrinjak. He is the recipient of the Dean’s award, awarded Summa cum laude for best student in the class with the highest grade point average, and the Rector’s award from the University of Zagreb for the 2009-2010 year. Winner of numerous national and international awards, among which are first prize at the European Music Prize for Youth (Dubrovnik 2004), first prize at the Split Guitar Festival in Split and Fernando Sor in Rome, 2008, and awards at the currently prestigious international competitions for classical guitar: third place at the Michele Pittaluga International Classic Guitar Competition in Alessandria (Italy 2008), second place at the Francisco Tarrega international Competition in Benicassim (Spain 2009), three awards at this year’s Alhambra competition in the Spanish city of Valencia, second plrize by the expert jury , and the audience award, and an award for the best interpretation of Spanish music (the works of Isaac Albeniz were  the emphasis of the program) at Julian Arcas international competition in Almeria, also in 2010.

In September of 2009 je won first place for best solo recital at the Ferdo Livadić international competition for young guitarists in Samobor, and as part of the award, premiered a concert in Samobor on September 23rd 2010 for guitar, percussion, and strings that was composed for him by prominent Croatian composer, Željko Brkanović. He is the recipient of the Rector’s award from the University of Split, where he completed his first three years of study at the Academy for Arts under Professor Goran Listeš.
