Radojka Šverko

Rođena je u Pazinu. Početke pjevačke karijere bilježi kao članica i solistica dječjih zborova. Prva
natjecanja otvaraju joj puteve do lokalnih i svjetskih festivala, značajnijih nastupa i nastupa na
domaćim i stranim televizijama.

Godine 1969. na festivalu u Puerto de la Cruzu na Kanarskim otocima dodjeljena joj je nagrada za najbolju interpretaciju (The Most Outstanding Performance).

Započinje internacionalnu karijeru potpisujući ugovor s diskografskom kućom Belter iz Barcelone.

Surađuje sa skladateljem Alfijem Kabiljom, u suradnji s kojim nastupa i osvaja nagrade u Tokiju, Los Angelesu, Madridu, Seoulu, Ateni, Puerto Ricu, Caracasu, Curacau, Bratislavi, Firenzi, Palma de Mallorci, Rio de Janeiru, itd.

Kvaliteta vokalnog izričaja i sklonost izvođenju izuzetno zahtjevnih skladbi stvorili su repertoar ozbiljne glazbe uz suradnju s profesorima Jasnom Šumak, Ljerkom Očić, Alanom Bjelinskim, Vladimirom Babinom.

Uz zabavnu i pop glazbu, filmsku glazbu, mjuzikle, te jazz, Radojka Šverko rado i često izvodi sakralni program u crkvenim prostorima, u pratnji orgulja, zborova i orkestara.

Radojka Šverko ostaje vjerna svom putu visoko profiliranog glazbenog umjetnika.

I have just found out that I am the first cousin of Radojka. My father Angelo Sverko migrated to Australia in 1950 with his wife Mira, sons Mario & Guerino and twin daughters Anna & Maria. I am so proud to have discovered this information. I am living in Seattle, America with my husband at the moment. Both our families live in Victoria-Australia. We are returning back there to live in about 18 months.Radojka has a beautiful voice and a fantastic career. I truly wish we had met years ago, or even known about her and the rest of our families.
