Mirko Novosel
Mirko Novosel, the greatest Croatian basketball trainer in history, was inducted to the Hall of Fame in the USA in 2007. He had tremendous successes during the period of ex-Yu in establishing a very strong representation of the former state, which stopped the dominance of the Soviet basketball players, and was the only team that was able to cope with USA basketball teams at the Olympics and World championships.
