Don't Look Up is an upcoming American satirical science fiction black comedy film written, produced, and directed by Adam McKay. It stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence as two low-level astronomers attempting to warn mankind, via a media tour, about an approaching comet that will destroy Earth. Rob Morgan, Jonah Hill, Mark Rylance, Tyler Perry, Ron Perlman, Timothy Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Scott Mescudi, Cate Blanchett, and Meryl Streep round out the ensemble cast. The film is a satirical tackling of the climate change crisis. Grande and Mescudi also collaborated on the song "Just Look Up" as part of the film's soundtrack.

Produced by Hyperobject Industries and Bluegrass Films, the film is set to receive a limited theatrical release on December 10, 2021, prior to streaming on Netflix on December 24, 2021.

As one of the Casting Directors on the Netfilx film, Don't Look Up, I needed to cast many different roles for our Oscar winning Writer and Director, Adam McKay. Extremely important was casting our 'President's' Secret Service. Our film President was played, brilliantly by the iconic actress and humanitarian, Meryl Streep.

I looked at over 150 options for the 6 Secret Service I cast. Marinko Radacovic immediately stood out amongst the crowd.

Behind the scenes of "Don't Look Up"

For many reasons: Marco has the look, the physicality, of a Secret Service Agent - strength, agility, and experience with over 40 weapons! And, Marco is, by nature, someone I felt I could trust. I knew the camera (and so, our audience) would appreciate his authenticity - Marinko has vast military experience - again strengthening Marco's ability to come across with authenticity on camera.

Also, in casting, I rely greatly on my feelings. And, in conversation with Marco, I had a sense of his heart. I felt that Marco was a man of his word. An strong actor and a good man, whom I could trust to be on set with our stars: Meryl Streep, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Jonah Hill and more.

To my new friends at Croatia Week and to my friend, and film colleague, Marinko Radacovic, I say: Hvala vam.

Thank you, dear Marco, for all you gave to our Director, Adam McKay, and to me...on Don't Look Up.

I look forward to many more films together.

In love, peace, and...in solidarity to all my friends I hope to soon meet in Croatia,

Judith Bouley, CSA (Casting Society of America)
