Mia Slavenska, the greatest Croatian female classical dancer in history, was born in Brod na Savi, Croatia, on February 20, 1916, the daughter of Milan and Heddwiga (Palme) Čorak. With this article we mark 60th anniversary of Studia Croatica, founded in 1960 in Buenos Aires. The journal has been founded by Croataian emmigrants.
