While the Croats first wore the cravat, they are very appreciative of the other cultures around the world that have embraced and perfected it. Now, in fact, they are proud to say that the cravat is an important aspect of world culture as it worn across so many cultures while represents universal human values...which is why they are so committed to preserving and promoting it as a proud part of their heritage.
