Serbian and Montenegrin bombing and shelling of Dubrovnik in 1991.

This photo shows Serbian and Montenegrin 1991 shelling of the main Dubrovnik street of Stradun. It was taken by Pavo Urban, a professional photographer. A few moments he was shot dead by exploding shrapnels, and this was one of his last photos.

Pavo Urban died with his photo camera in hands, filming savage Serbian and Montenegrin shelling of his beloved City, and his own tragic death. His destiny is very similar to that of Gordan Lederer, a legendary Croatian cameraman.
