Free Admission to U.S. Open Tennis Qualifying Matches

Come see the best Croatian tennis stars, IVAN LJUBICIC, ranked #11 best in the world, IVO KARLOVIC, ranked 33, MARIO ANCIC, ranked 38, and JELENA KOSTANIC TOSIC, ranked 88, up close and personal as they practice and compete for the 2007 US Open Championships starting Monday, August 27 - September 9, 2007!
Prior to the tennis tournament, there will be FREE admission to US Open Qualifying Tournament starting Tuesday, August 21 - Friday, August 24, 2007. Gates open at 10:00 am at the USTA Billy Jean King National Tennis Center. Those in the 128-player qualifying draw must win three matches to make it into the main draw of US Open. Come to support young Croatian tennis players who will compete to gain entry to the largest tennis tournament in the United States: MARIN CILIC, ranked 115, NIKA OZEGOVIC, ranked 143, KAROLINA SPREM, ranked 184, IVANA LISJAK, ranked 187, ROKO KARANUSIC, ranked 207, IVANA ABRAMOVIC, ranked 240, SANJA ANCIC, ranked 253, ANA VRLJIC, #294, and LOVRO ZOVKO;
Among Juniors PETRA MARTIC, MARIN DRAGANJA, JASMINA TINJIC, ANA SAVIC, TEREZA MRDEZA, and others will be competing.
The 2007 US Open will be held on Monday, August 27 through Sunday, September 9, 2007. The purse will top $19.6 million, up a record one million dollars, the largest single year increase to US Open prize money in history.
Today's players are some of the most talented, competitive, and hard working athletes in sports. The high financial rewards reflect tremendous excitement and entertainment they bring to the US Open.
