CROATIA • Croatia became the eighth member of the Central European Free Trade Association(CEFTA) March 1, making the market of more than 100 million people more accessible to its products, the economy ministry said. "This agreement should increase Croatian merchandise trade and enable its companies to boost their presence on the markets of CEFTA members with over 100 million people and $400 billion [11.6 trillionKc] combined gross domestic product," a ministry statement said.
