Louis Zorich was born on February 12, 1924 and died on January 30, 2018. He was an American actor. He is perhaps best known to television audiences for his portrayal of Paul Reiser's father, Burt Buchman, on the NBC series Mad About You. He played the role from 1993 to 1999. Zorich was born in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Croatian immigrants Anna (nee Gledi) and Christ Zorich. He was  Broadway veteran and the husband of Oscar winner Olympia Dukakis, he also starred on TV's 'Brooklyn Bridge.'

In 2018 we commemorate a tragic death of Stjepan Radić, one of the greatest Croatian politicians and humanists in history (on the photo with his grandchildren), assassinated in 1928 in the Belgrade Parliament. We provide an articl written by Dr. Ante Cuvalo, an information about a new street in the Prague bearing his name (and his wife Marija was a Czech schoolteacher), as well as an article about him written by a Danish writer Karin Michaelis, who used to know his family in person. Participating the 16th International Dvigrad Festival of Early Music are Ensemble Dialogos with Katarina Livljanić (Fr), Ensemble Antonima Frottolisti (It), Ensemble Lucidarium (It), Centotrecento Ensemble (It), Elena Roce, soprano, and Ema Stein, Renaissance lute, Ensemble Responsorium (Hr), Capella Sanctae Sophiae (Hr). The Festival is organized under the auspices of Kolinda Grabar Kitarović, president of the Republic of Croatia. Alojzije Prosoli is the founder and director of the International Dvigrad Festival of Early Music, as well as of the Musica Sacra (Sveta glazba) association in Zagreb. The town of Dvigrad is placed in Istrian peninsula on the SW of Croatia, not far from the city of Pula.

With these performances Miro Gavran confirmed that he is the most performed Croatian writer in Croatia and abroad. His work has been translated into 40 languages.

Danica Kragic is a Professor at the School of Computer Science and Communication at the Royal Institute of Technology, KTH. She received MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Rijeka, Croatia in 1995 and PhD in Computer Science from KTH in 2001. She has been a visiting researcher at Columbia University, Johns Hopkins University, Brown University and INRIA Rennes. She is the Director of the Centre for Autonomous Systems and a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences and founding member of the Young Academy of Sweden.

Goran Končar started his international soloist career in 1982, undertaking guest tours in most European countries, the USA, Japan and Israel. In the period from 1984 to 1994 he was concert master of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London, the Croatian Radio & Television Symphony Orchestra and the Zagreb Philharmonic. He also performed in many concerts with eminent orchestras and conductors throughout the world. He is the recipient of the Music Life award in Moscow (1980) for the performance of the Concerto for the Violin and Orchestra by Dmitri Shostakovich, the first prize at the International Competition in Bratislava (1984) and other top acknowledgments.
