06 Mar 2007
Globe Trade Centre SA, Poland's largest property developer by market value, will invest 42 million euros ($55 million) in office and commercial buildings in Zagreb.
The company bought a 12,000 square-meter plot in the Croatian capital and will hire Slavonska Avenija d.d. to put up the buildings, which will have a total rentable space of 18,500 square meters, the company said in an e-mailed statement. Globe Trade didn't provide the timeframe for the investment. "We want to benefit from its booming real estate market by developing projects in all three segments, office, retail and residential," Hagai Harel, a member of GTC's management board, said in the statement.
