Eight finalist were announced today for the WTC Memorial. According to the NY Times, one of the eight is "Garden of Light" by Pierre David, Sean Corriel and Jessica Kmetovic.
"This is a three-level memorial with a garden on the top and a private area for families of the victims at the tower footprints that is connected by a path and a stream of water. There is also a public area filled with lights, one for each victim.
David lives in Paris. He is a professor of architecture who has taught at Harvard and Columbia and who designs private homes and gardens. His assistants, Corriel and Kmetovic, are architectural students."
Any one know if Jessica Kmetovic is of Croatian descent?
