The 952-foot-long Liberty is the first vessel for Miami-based Carnival Cruise Lines to sail a full slate of summer-fall European cruises. On Nov. 12, the ship is to begin a series of eight-day Caribbean cruises from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and then return to Europe in May 2006.
