MacShane calls French "cretins" or worse may be taken to court

Denis MacShane, a man held in low regard everywhere
but in Croatia (Croats think he is important - no,
really) has just called the French "cretins" or
"assholes" depending on translation. Macshane speaks
French fluently, and called the French euro-sceptics
"neo-cons" which in French - apparently - amusingly
translates int really a very rude insult, and MacShane
knew it.

A French MP is - I am not joking - threatening to
take him to court.
