IN THE SHADOW OF GREEN HILL
a comedy by Josko Bozanic, directed by Marin Caric

performed by eminent Croatian theatre and film actors

This is the first theatre play by Josko Bozanic, a poet and a researcher
of Croatian naval tradition. Mr. Bozanic has based his play on the
collected stories told to him by Dalmatian emigrants in California. The
play is therefore taking place in San Pedro, California, where two
elderly men, emigrants from the early fifties talk about their good and
bad times far away from their island, which is still the only place
where they truly belong.

This play has received numerous theatre awards in Croatia. It will make
you laugh, but it will also bring a few tears to many eyes.
