(E) Hrvatski Vjesnik - Croatian Herald Website Launched

As of tomorrow (Thursday), we are FINALLY launching our new website atwww.croatianherald.com.au .
We are very excited about the launch of the website and want to take the Vjesnik to the rest of the world. Please visit the site yourself, and PLEASE please please, pass the word onto all your contacts via CroWorldNet. By all means, make any constructive suggestions. We aim to have it free-to-air for the first few months but after that we are considering charginga $1 AUD subscription per week - $50 AUD per year in order to not lose on our hardcopy and to add a new revenue stream so we can embark on different community projects. Please let me know what you think of that, i.e. whether or not people will be enticed to subscribe, taking into account these days there are so many free-to-air news websites.

Finally, may you have a very Merry Xmas and safe and enjoyable New Year and keep up the excellent work you are doing for both Croatia and the North American Croatian community. If only we had more Nenad Bachs around the world !

All the best and hopefully chat with you again very soon! In the meantime, please let as many people know about our website. Eventually, once we settle down a little I would like to exchange links.

ADVERTISE WITH THE CROATIAN HERALD - A BUSINESS DECISION YOU WON'T REGRET!

The Croatian Herald (Hrvatski Vjesnik) is a weekly newspaper, published
every Friday in Melbourne but distributed and sold throughout Australia.
We have been around since 1983, serving the Australian Croatian
community with a top class publication that is by far the most
widely-sold Australian Croatian newspaper.
We are also the only Australian Croatian newspaper - and indeed one
of the few ethnic papers in Australia - that has a fully fledged English
supplement, known as 'the New Generation'.
Currently with a print run in excess of 12,000 copies per week, and
excellent market penetration in all the major metropolitan and regional
cities in Australia (including Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane,
Geelong, Adelaide, Perth and Hobart) we offer potential advertisers
superior value for money and awesome exposure for their respective
businesses or events.
Added to that, the new official Vjesnik website, which you are now
viewing, and the marketing opportunity to advertise with the Croatian
Herald will no doubt be of extreme advantage to you.

For all advertising enquiries, including highly competitive
advertising rates and professional advice on artwork/design, please
contact Tom at our Melbourne (Australia) Head Office Mondays-Wednesdays from
10am-6pm (AEST) on (03) 9481 8068, via fax on (03) 9482 2830 or send him
an email at:

    To whom it may concern.
I was looking for an opportunity to advertise a set of Victorian Registered Personalised Plates "ZADOM" for sale. If you have a private sale section in your newspaper, could you please get back to me so I can go ahead and book an advertisement. Thank you

I’m looking to make contact with a Croatian man by the name of Bozo Pavlovic or Pavlic also known as Joe. He arrived as a single man from the former Yugoslavia in 1961 when he was about 25 years old. He spent some time at the Broadmeadows Migrant Hostel and was at that time working as an engineer at Ford’s Broadmeadows Plant. If you know Bozo (Joe) or have contact details for him, please make contact with me at drina.jankovic@nt.gov.au or by phone on 0411614801.
