Auction Of Photos Raises Money For Needy Children
10/28/2005 More than 25,000 euros has been raised for children suffering from cerebral paralysis in Croatia by the auction of photographs of world famous football stars in the Adriatic port of Split. Images of Brazilian strikers Ronaldo and Adriano, Swedish national team and Juventus striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Sienna’s Igor Tudor, Shakhtar Donetsk’s Darijo Srna, Hajduk Split and Croatian national team midfielder Niko Kranjcar were included in the humanitarian auction. Croatian photographer Vladimir Dugandzic and his Japanese colleague Junichi Yamazakioffered their work at the auction at the Albatros Club in Split. The proceeds will be used to buy wheelchairs for children in need. A number of Croatian footballers attended the auction. Photos of different Olympic medal winners were also included in the auction.
