MOSOCW - Croatian President Stipe Mesich arrived in Moscow today on a working visit and is expected to discuss the possibilities of strengthening Russia-Croatian relations as well as the current situation in the Balkans with Russian leaders, according to Kommersant.
The Croatian leader is also expected to attend a meeting of Russian-Croatian Business Club in Moscow before departing for Kaliningrad on Dec. 15, where he will meet the local administration officials and lay a foundation stone for the building of a new Croatian consulate in the city.
This is Mesich’s second visit to Russia this year. During the first visit in February 2003, both presidents agreed to activate business and economic activities between the two countries.
