Croatia is the winner of the 2016 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Turin
In dramatic finals of the basketball tournament in Italy, Croatian team defeated Italian team in Torino, thus securing its participation at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Croatia has a very young team, and its victories under the guidance of Aleksandar Petrović, against very strong Greek and Italian temas are a pleasant surprise. Among better known players, we mention Dario Šarić, Krunoslav Simon, Darko Planinic and Bojan Bogdanović.. Aleksandar Petrović is the brother of late Dražen Petrović.
