Creation of Adriatica village in McKinney, Texas, is the re-creation of the Croatian fishing village Supetar
Mr. Jeffory D. Blackard, creator of the Adriatica village in the USA, inspired by the Croatian village of Supetar on the island of Brač.
Jeffory D. Blackard is the Chief Executive Officer of Blackard Global, Inc. With a distinguished development career now entering it’s 4th decade, Mr. Blackard is responsible for the completion of over 20 Master Planned Communities, containing in excess of 15,000 single family home sites. Over the course of his career, Blackard has developed commercial projects including: office parks, manufacturing facilities, retail centers, schools, hotels and resorts, marinas, and championship golf courses. In conjunction with these developments, he was also responsible for the accompanying infrastructure that included: water and sewer treatment plants, rail systems, and bridges.
The culminating effort of the previous 30+ years of development and construction lead to the creation of Adriatica, a $350 million plus, development in McKinney, Texas. Adriatica is the re-creation of the Croatian fishing village, Supetar.
