Emmanuel Vukovich

Emmanuel Vukovich is emerging as a violinist of musical integrity and artistic maturity. Recipient of several prestigious awards and competitions, inlcuding the Canada Council for the Arts 1768 ‘Miller’ Gagliano violin, McGill University’s Schulich Golden Violin Award, and grand-prize winner of the Internationally renownded Fischoff Chamber Music Competition as first violinist of the Lloyd Carr-Harris String Quartet, Vukovich’s upcoming engagements include a recital tour of South America with The Parcival Project, of which he is founder and artistic director, as well as soloist in the Brahms violin concerto with the Oakville Symphony Orchestra in Ontario.

Having begun the violin with Danuta Ciring in Calgary, and furthered his studies with Dorothy Delay and Masao Kawasaki at the Juilliard School in New York City, and with Denise Lupien and André Roy at McGill University in Montreal, Vukovich is currently pursuing a graduate diploma at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston with Lucy Chapman and Donald Weilerstein.
