The 5th annual Bosnian-Herzegovinian Film Festival will be held May 9-10 in New York City. The Living and the Dead (Zivi i Mrtvi) opens the festival on Friday at the Tribeca Cinemas The opening reception starts at 6:00 p.m., and the screenings will start at 7:00 p.m.

I would like to invite you to the 5th annual Bosnian-Herzegovinian Film Festival (May 9-10), which will open this Friday at Tribeca Cinemas. There is a fundraising party for the festival on Thursday evening downstairs at Mehanata (Bulgarian bar) on 113 Ludlow St. It's only $5 to get in, and will help us cover the cost of the festival. The doors open at 8:30pm, but DJ Tomo starts spinning Balkan tunes at 10:30pm. I know...Thursday is a school night, so I understand if you can't stay for the dancing part! :)
