The ‘Deloitte Technology Fast 50’ is a prestigious annual award which honours the fastest growing Central European technology companies, based on the percentage of revenue growth over a five-year period (2012-2015). Revenue growth is calculated in local currency. Companies must meet a minimum revenue threshold (in Euros) in order to qualify.

All of the five top tech firms on this year’s fast 50 were making their debuts on the list. In first place was Polish firm Codewise who enjoyed 13,052% revenue growth over the last three years. Poland’s CodiLime software business was ranked second with a three-year growth rate of 5,038%.

Third place in the Fast 50 went to Czech IT services company Dataspring, with its three-year growth rate of 3,129%. Poland has 17 companies in the ranking, Czech Republic has 7, Croatia 6, and Slovakia 5. Croatia went down from 8 firms on the list last year.
