Dora Pejačević (1885-1923) is the first internationally recognized Croatian woman composer. In 2015, Yoko Nishii prepared the double CD in Tokyo, containing Dora's complete pianist opus.

Božidar Kunc (1903-1964) is a distinugished Croatian composer who spent a part of his life in the USA. He is the brother of Zinka Kunc, a famous Croatian opera singer.
