The National Federation of Croatian Americans (NFCA) and the Croatians of New York & Los Angeles (CNYLA) are proud to present Adriatic Breeze, an evening of exquisite wine and music at Society Contemporary Art on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 6:00 PM.
We will present an extensive Croatian wine selection paired with several different small plates that will remind you of the warm and light breezes of the Adriatic Sea. Emerge yourself in the world of sound and flavors.
Sample and savor wine selections from notable Croatian wineries, including Bibich, Karaman, Matosevic, Saints Hills, Toljanic, Enjingi, Babic Pilizota, Zlatan Plavac, Babic, Kozlovic, Grgic Posip, Butala and others.
A music showcase will be provided by award winning artists Ludvig & Stelar. Recent winner of the Best Independent International Musical Documentary, Damir Ludvig, has graciously teamed with CNYLA to bring you amazing sounds from the Adriatic Coast. With more than a decade of collaborative work in the studio, Damir Ludvig and Goran "Stelar" Stetic have acquired a broad musical repertoire forging ahead through a variety of successful musical projects. Ludvig & Stelar explore the wide-open range of both electronic and acoustic instrumentation available for creating first-class easy listening music. Ludvig & Stelar are more like adventurous travelers taking expeditions to a place where dreams become reality. Ludvig & Stelar create the perfect soundtrack for those summer afternoons in Croatia, where a cool drink with the slowly setting sun smoothly give way to what the night has in store.
