CHIELOVICH, ELIA Wine House

Mr. Elia Chielovich of Boka was a very prominent San Francisco liquor wholesaler. He married Jane Tewel from Ireland in 1858 in San Francisco. He traveled to Virginia City in 1869 and again to Eureka, Nevada in 1878. He had business interests with Marco Medin at Virginia City. He also owned the famed Wine House in Reno during the 1870’s. Most of his life was spent in San Francisco and he died in 1901 at the age of 76 and was buried at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. He was an American citizen. Adam S. Eterovich
