MARTIN PANIAN

In the Virginia City Business Directory Martin Panian was listed as the proprietor of the Nevada Brewery Depot on Main Street in Gold Hill in 1869.

This was one of the very few breweries in Nevada at the time.

Martin was on the U.S. Census of Population for 1870 in Gold Hill listed as an Austrian as most Croatians were at the time.

The name Panian is found in many parts of Croatia.
