ANTUNOVICH CLAN

 

A. Antunovich was a coal burner over at Eureka, Nevada in 1880 and he told the Federal Census he was Hungarian; Florio Antunovich had a restaurant at Hamilton in 1871 and in 1860 he told the Federal Census he was Italian.  Florio was a well known San Francisco businessman with a large family.  He and his wife were from Konavle.  He was a member of the Slavonic Illyric Society and was an American citizen.  he died in 1898 at the age of 73 and was buried at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in San Francisco.
