 | Croatian playwright Miro Gavran will have his drama NIGHT OF THE GODS premiered at the TEATRO ALLO SCALO in Rome on February 16, 2010. Two days later, on February 18, Miro Gavran will present his theatre and literary work to the students of the renowned Rome university SAPIENZA, with his wife, the actress Mladena Gavran. His works have been translated into 32 languages. |

| GAVRAN'S PREMIERE IN ROME The Croatian playwright Miro Gavran will have his drama NIGHT OF THE GODS premiered at the TEATRO ALLO SCALO in Rome on February 16, 2010. Gorjana Ducic has done the translation into Italian and she is also directing the play, while the leading roles will be played by Pietro Bontempo, Claudio Gnomus and Sandro Torella. The setting of Gavran's drama is the court of King Louis XIV of France and, apart from him, the heroes are the greatest dramatist of that time, Moličre, and Louis’ Court Jester. The performance in Italy will be the seventieth premiere of NIGHT OF THE GODS. Two days later, on February 18, Miro Gavran will present his theatre and literary work to the students of the renowned Rome university SAPIENZA, with his wife, the actress Mladena Gavran also participating in the presentation, along with the director and translator of the text for the Italian premiere, Gorjana Ducic and the members of the Italian cast. To date, Miro Gavran's works have been translated into 32 language, his dramas have had more than 200 premieres and have been seen by more than two million theatre-goers worldwide. |
