Sanja Jovanović won her new gold medal at the European Swimming Championship held in Istanbul,  Turkey, December 12, 2009. And not only this, she broke the world record on 50 m backstroke, and her new world record is 25.70. This is her fourth world record in swimming at international competitions. The preceding day, December 12, 2009, she won silver medal in the 100m backstroke finals at the European Short Course Swimming Championships in Istanbul. Croatian swimmer Duje Draganja also had a great success by winnin silver medal 100 m mixed style. In 2008 he won the title of world champion on 50m freestyle in Manchester.
