Along with the above musicians, this year's Festival will welcome several celebrities from the world of film, such as Spanish film composer Alberto Iglesias and the movie legend Sir Roger Moore. They will be joined by one of the most respected living composers of today, Krzysztof Penderecki, who will participate in the Festival in the role of composer-in residence and personally attend rehearsals and performances of his pieces.

Alberto Iglesias, Spanish composer best known for his music for the movies by the famous director Pedro Almodovar, will present one of his works at the Festival, namely "Factory of Silence for Viola and Chamber Orchestra", performed by Maestro Julian Rachlin and guest musicians, the famous Academy of St. Martin in the Fields.

Special part of the Festival, along with already traditional "Concert in White" in the Rector’s Palace and "Concert for the People of Dubrovnik", will be a project with the movie legend Sir Roger Moore. This year, Festival’s audience will have an opportunity to enjoy two performances of one of the most appreciated violinists and composers - Aleksey Igudesman, entitled "Violins of the World" and "Little Nightmare Music and more", which feature performances of narrator Sir Roger Moore, maestro Julian Rachlin, pianist Richard Hyung-ki Joo, violinist Gidon Kremer and many others.

This year for the first time, the Festival and Dubrovnik, will host the Kopelman Quartet. One of the members of the Kopelman Quartet is violinist Boris Kuschnir, former pedagogue of Maestro Rachlin and his long term mentor, who evidently influenced the music path and success of this world known violinist.
