New York City, April 18, 2008 - Author, Katarina Tepesh, will promote her new book, Escape from Despair: A Croatian Family's Survival, at the Histria American Women's Association on May 16, 2008 at 7:30 pm at Istria Sport Club, Inc.
A memoir, Escape from Despair, is a compelling and dramatic true story of hopeful immigrants. Under pretty terrible circumstances, a mother struggles to bring six children to the United States. Their journey is one of false hopes, the successes, and the failures.
The author, Katarina Tepesh, is one of the six children.
