Croatian sailors Sime Fantela and Igor Marenic from Zadar have earned the title of world champions in the under 21 World Junior Championships.

Hrvatski jedrilièari ©ime Fantela i Igor Mareniæ iz zadarskog Sv. Kr¹evana osvojili su naslov svjetskih prvaka do 21 godine na Svjetskom juniorskom prvenstvu klase 470 u bugarskom Bourgasu.

Za zadarsku posadu ovo je osma juniorska medalja sa svjetskih i europskih prvenstava, odnosno treæi naslov svjetskih juniorskih prvaka. Prvi put su svjetsko zlato osvojili 2002. godine, a drugi put tri godine kasnije. Ova mlada posada dokazala se veæ i u seniorskoj konkurenciji, s petim mjestom na SP-u 2006. i ¹estim na SP-u ove godine.

Na juniorskom SP u Bugarskoj nastupile su 82 posade, a u dana¹njem plovu za odlièja ©ime i Igor bili su peti.
