Sr. Lawyer/Jr. Partner (Croatia)



Our client, is an international law firm with offices in Central & Eastern Europe including Austria, Prague, Bratislava, Bucharest, and several offices in the West Balkan region.   The firm advises major international companies and financial institutions on a wide range of cross-border transactions in Central and South Eastern Europe. It also serves as regular legal counsel to US and European corporations that are active in that region.

The firm's Zagreb office is comprised of a young, dynamic and committed team where the command of foreign languages, international experience and ongoing professional training are natural for them. The objective of our client is to build up one of the leading Croatian legal practices in the areas of corporate, banking and finance, real property and dispute resolution over the next 3 years. Therefore, they are currently seeking a Partner for the Zagreb office to serve a roster of both domestic and multi-national clients.

You should have at least 9-12 years of experience with an international law firm and have a track record in Corporate and/or banking law.  You will be qualified in an EC country or the U.S.  High caliber Croatian lawyers (with LL.M or similar foreign education and experience in an international law firm) will also be considered.

Candidates who are of Croatian decent or speak fluent Croatian would be ideal.  Fluency in English is required and knowledge of German language would be a plus.

You should have a strong entrepreneurial attitude, comprehensive interpersonal and management skills and well developed client development skills.
