A peek at the possible 2004 lottery picks (note: Charlotte will have the fourth pick) reveals that size will be paramount in the early selections. Though there eventually could be several high school players involved -- forwards Al Jefferson, Dwight Howard and Josh Smith and guards Sebastian Telfair and Shaun Livingston among them -- we'll assume they will go to college at this point.

1. Kosta Perovic, C, Croatia. You know the drill -- he's 7-3 and can shoot it.
