Essentially, the wars are waged so that rich people can profit from them

I hope Bunnatine brings Rummy, Cheney and their criminal conspirators
down. Bunnatine H. Greenhouse, chief contracting officer for the Army
Corps of Engineers, has called for an investigation of procurement
practices. Mainly in awarding billions of dollars to Haliburton in no-
bid contract.

It is also important to note that Halliburton subsidiary Kellogg
Brown & Root got an extra 11 monthswithout bidding to provide
logistical services in the Balkans (mainly supplying the largest US
military base in Europe: Camp Bondsteel in Kosovo). In this case, Ms.
Greenhouse asserted, where operations have continued for four years,
claims of an emergency or that Kellogg Brown & Root was the only
feasible provider were not tenable. The company is expected to draw
$165 million from the extension.

Essentially, the wars are waged so that rich people can profit from
them. People like Cheney.
