The Croatian New Yorker Club - A Community Alliance of Business People, will be holding their annual picnic on Sunday August 7th, 2005 at Centerport Beach, Centerport, Long Island New York. ENJOY A GREAT DAY AT THE BEACH WITH OTHER CROATIAN NEW YORKERS! Centerport Beach is located on the North Shore of Long Island about 45 miles east of New York City. The beach has a pavilion for the picnic's exclusive use, a BBQ pit, a bocce court, shaded grove, ah volleyball court, and a sandy beach on Long Island Sound. High tide is mid-afternoon on the day of the picnic - ideal for swimming!
Menu: Grilled meats, chicken, kielbasa, corn on the cob, salads, hot dogs, and hamburgers. SERVING TIME 3:00 PM. COME EARLY - ENJOY THE BEACH!
Please bring your own choice of beverages and desserts. Contributions of Croatian pastries would be greatly appreciated.
Cost: $12.00 Adults, $6.00 Older Children, Younger Children Free.
The pavilion will allow the party to go on rain or shine! We're hoping to have Croatian music, if you play bring your instruments!
