Who knew?! I made plans months ago to be in Vancouver for a week, photo shoot. I sent Yahoo a photo on the whim. Go figure it!! I am proud as a peach in a Sunday basket. Wow!!!!

Congratulations! Your photo has been selected as one of 120 winners in “Yahoo! Photos 15 Seconds of Photo Fame” event! You survived some fierce competition from over 21,000 other entries.

Your photo will appear on the Astrovision screen in Times Square on Sunday, January 25, 2004 some time between 2:00 – 2:30 p.m. EST. Each picture will be displayed for 15 seconds.

We would love you to join us in Times Square on the day of the event. The Yahoo! Photos Team will be meeting at the Times Square Visitor’s Center on the day of the event at 1:30pm. The Visitor’s Center is located at 1560 Broadway, between 46th and 47th Streets, next to the ticket center. Look inside for the Yahoo! kiosk.

Please do your best to keep the news fairly quiet for the next few days. We will be publicly announcing the winners on Tuesday, January 20th. A public album with all the winning pictures will also be available on Yahoo! Photos on Tuesday.
