1. What can we do more to improve our community
Sto mozemo uciniti kako bi poboljsali zajednicu
2. One Stop Shop for Croatian Artists / Sportsman /Scientist and visitors to New York
- Accommodations (Buy quantities of Rooms in one-two-three hotels)
Welcome at the airport and driving them back top the airport.
- Affordable Phone Service (to be able to communicate home to Croatia immediately after their arrival
and call locally without being overcharged)
- Affordable Food. Agree with a Croatian Owned restaurants to give as a package price for food.
- Maps and suggestions. Prepare all data and maps, so they can function immediately. (example: Most of
the people who come here do not know that you have to dial 1 before area code. It isn't written
almost anywhere and it is considered to be a common knowledge. Guess what? It's not for visitors.
- connect them with the local New York institutions
- Creation of a blueprint of the same for other cities
- Media coverage if they have status that approves such attention (Radio, Print, Internet, TV)
Jedna Stanica za Hrvatske Umjetnike, Sportase, Znanstvenike i posjetioce New Yorka
- Prebivaliste (otkupiti vci broj soba u jednom, dva, tri hotela)
- Docek na aerodromu i voznja do prebivalista te ispracaj, prijevoz do aerodroma.
- Priustiv telefonski servis (tako da se moze odmah zvati kuci i lokalno)
- Priustiva po cijeni hrana (U dogovoru s restoranima hrvatskih vlasnika)
- Mape grada, podzemne zeljeznice, muzeja etc. tako da gosti mogu funkcionrati odmah. Primjer: Vecina
ljudi ne zna da treba staviti 1 prije svakog telefonskog poziva.
- Povezivanje s lokalnim institucijama.
- Kreiranje matrice - prototipa za ostale gradove i zajednice Hrvata u svijetu
- organiziranje interviewa za osobe koje zasluzuju paznju (Radio, Tisak, Internet, TV)

4. Creation of a DATA base for the whole community. Business and Personal. Cross-reference data base as a
blue print for other communities around the world too.
kreiranje baze podataka za cijelu zajednicu. Kako poslovnu tako i osobnu. Krosreferenca kao matrica i
prototip za ostale hrvatske zajednice u svijetu
Prepare yourself, come and share your ideas connections and leg work.
Dodjite pripremljeni, podijelite svoje ideje, veze i marljivost.
If you have an idea, you have to express is in less then 3 minutes. No long speaches of epic proportions.
Brief, compasionate and acurate is appreciated.
Ako imate ideju, izrazite je u manje od tri minute. Bez dugackih epskih govora. Kratko, sazeto i strasno.
Next Meeting September 29th 2004. Same time same place.
Slijedeci sastanak 29 Rujan 2004. Isto mjesto, isto vrijeme.
If we achieve nothing by Sept 29th., I'll give up on that day. I gave it all and if it doesn't work, it means
that the community is not ready. My feeling is that YES, WE ARE READY. We just need a spark.
Ako nista ne ostvarimo od planiranog do 29 rujna., ja odustajem. Dao sam sve od sebe, i ako ne radi, za mene
zanci da zajednica nije spremna. Moj osjecaj je da je zajednica spremnija nego ikada. Potrebna je samo iskra.
