TRADE: MISSION IN CROATIA FOR 120 ENTERPRISES, SAYS URSO(AGI) - Rome, Italy, March 25 - The mission in Croatia of Adolfo Urso, vice minister of productive activities, in charge of foreign trade, began today. "With an investment of 226 million euro in the first ten months of 2002, Italy is Croatia's first commercial partner. A position which the Italian government want to strengthen, and, as from tomorrow, with 120 enterprises, we will begin studying the possibility of starting new industrial districts as soon as possible".

The main Italian companies already operating on the Croatian market are Agip, Italgas, Astaldi, Olivetti, Benetton, Ferrero and Colussi. Italian investments will now focus on mechanics, agriculture and food, furniture and tourism". (AGI)
