| The concert is organized by the Honorary Consulate of Croatia in Naha as a cultural exchange program between Croatia and Naha City. Also, as a charity concert, the proceeds will be donated through the Croatian Embassy to support the recovery from the Noto Peninsula Earthquake. The program includes compositions by Dora Pejačević (1885-1923), the first Croatian women-composer. The concert will take place on 19th May 2024 in the Naha Cultural Arts Theater "NAHArt", which was opened in 2021. |

The concert was held as a cultural exchange project between Croatia and Naha City, and as a charity concert to support the recovery from the Noto Peninsula Earthquake. One million yen will be donated from the proceeds of the recital and other donations through the Croatian Embassy. The concert was attended by 315 people, while the number of seats in the hall was 260! And 40 people were not permitted to enter the hall due to fire protection measures. Welcome speeches were deliverred by Mr. Satoru Chinen, Mayor of the city of Naha, and H.E. Dražen Hrastić, Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Japan. |
