Tamara Gal, young and talented Croatian pianist, interprets masterpieces of Božidar Kunc (Zagreb 1903 - Detroit 1964), as well as of Dora Pejačević (Budapest 1885 - Munich 1923), the first Croatian woman - composer of international reputation. Tamara has appeared as a soloist with the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, under the baton of Vjekoslav Šutej. She servs as Youth on the Move Ambassador for Croatia, and has organized several humanitarian concerts. |
Tamara Gal Tamara Gal is a young and prospective Croatian pianist. She has been playing the piano since the age of seven. During her education she has won numerous prizes at both international and national competitions. She has received The Mira Sakač award for her exceptional performances on numerous occasions. Through a student exchange program, she spent one year at the prestigious Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest. After graduating from the Music Academy in Zagreb she continued her education in specialist study programme in Vienna. Ms. Gal regularly performs as a soloist and chamber musician and has collaborated with the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Vjekoslav Šutej. She has appeared in Slovenia, Italy, Germany, Austria, Hungary, and England, where she held her own piano master class. Apart from being a successful musician she has also taken part in charity work following in the footsteps of her late father. She has organised as the managing director of a charity organisation Moj Grad Zagreb several humanitarian concerts and few fundraising projects. She has also closely cooperated with the Concert Directories of Zagreb playing a number of recitals as well as often featuring on Croatian TV - HRT (Zlatna kuna, Dobro jutro Hrvatska, Osmi kat...) Mlada i perspektivna hrvatska pijanistica Tamara Gal dobitnica je mnogobrojnih državnih i međunarodnih nagrada (i za solističke izvedbe i za komorno muziciranje). Svoje glazbeno umijeće usavršavala je kod istaknutih europskih pedagoga u Zagrebu, Budimpešti i Beču. Redovito nastupa u brojnim zemljama: Austrija, Mađarska, Njemačka, Engleska, Italija, ... Bilježi i uspješan solistički nastup sa Zagrebačkom filharmonijom pod ravnanjem maestra Vjekoslava Šuteja. Uz glazbeni angažman predano se bavi i humanitarnim radom te je kao zastupnica udruge Moj grad Zagreb, u suradnji s perspektivnim mladim glazbenicima, uspješno organizirala više humanitarnih koncerata. Gostuje u emisijama Hrvatske radiotelevizije, a na inicijativu Europske komisije, 2013., hrvatska je ambasadorica projekta Mladi u pokretu. |
