Miro Gavran's novel "Kafka's friend" was just published by the publishing house "OM" from Pristina, Kosovo. Translation from Croatian into Albanian was done by Ben Apolloni and the editor is Xhemajl Avdyli. This novel first came out in Croatian in 2011 published by "Mozaik knjiga" from Zagreb and after that it was translated into Czech, English, Dutch, Slovak and in parts into Esperanto. The main characters are the writers Franz Kafka and Max Brod and women that defined their destinies. Gavran's books have been translated into 38 languages!

Roman Mire Gavrana "Kafkin prijatelj" upravo je objavila Izdavačka kuća "OM"  iz Prištine na Kosovu. Prijevod s hrvatskog na albanski jezik je načinio Ben Apolloni, dok je urednik Xhemajl Avdyli.

Ovaj Gavranov roman pred publiku je izišao na hrvatskom jeziku 2011. u izdanju  Mozaik knjige iz Zagreba,a potom je preveden i objavljen na češkom, engleskom, nizozemskom, slovačkom, te u fragmentima na esperantu.

Za njega je autor 2012. dobio Nagradu hrvatske akademije znanosti i umjetnosti za književnost. Glavni junaci romana su književnici Franz Kafka i Max Brod, te žene koje su ih sudbinski odredile.

Gavranove knjige prevedene su na čak 38 jezika!
