| Compliments to the Split virtuoso on his choice of compositions by Croatian composers The young guitarist will have a solo recital at this year's Zagreb Summer Evenings, July 13, in the cycle of young Croatian star One of the best Croatian musicians of the younger generation, guitarist Srdjan Bulat does not give up in his commendable effort to represent contemporary Croatian composers in numerous international performances. This unknown music amazes the audience, as evidenced by the reviews from the Italian town Lodi where Bulat appeared a week ago in a local traditional cycle of international masters of guitar. At the recital held in the Church of the Uncrowned Virgin, one of the many attractions in Lodi, Bulat played and songs by Regondi, Tarrega and Albeniz. However, a local critic showered praise him especially because of the "unknown Croatian pearls", as he called Mediterranean suite by Zeljko Brkanović and compositions for guitar by Stjepan Šulek, Boris Papandopulo and Parać that Bulat presented to the Italian audience. This year, Srdjan Bulat will perform at the Zagreb Summer Evenings, July 13, the festival cycle of young Croatian star. The recital will be held at church of St. Catherine, and in addition to works by Regondi, Abril and Albeniz, Bulat will play the beforementioned piece the Mediterranean suite by Zeljko Brkanović, then according Duoble by Marko Ruždjak, Three Troubadours by Stjepan Šulek and music for guitar by Frano Parać. | Pohvale splitskom virtuozu zbog izbora skladbi hrvatskih autora Mladi gitarist održat će ove godine solistički recital i na Zagrebačkim ljetnim večerima, 13. srpnja u ciklusu Mlade hrvatske zvijezde Jedan od najboljih hrvatskih glazbenika mlađe generacije, gitarist Srđan Bulat ne posustaje u svom hvalevrijednom nastojanju da na brojnim međunarodnim nastupima predstavlja i suvremene hrvatske skladatelje. Nepoznata glazba redovito oduševljava publiku, što potvrđuje i kritika iz talijanskog Lodija gdje je Bulat prije tjedan dana nastupio u tamošnjem tradicionalnom ciklusu međunarodnih majstora gitare. Na recitalu u crkvi Djevice Marije Neokrunjene, jednoj od brojnih znamenitosti Lodija, Bulat je svirao i skladbe Regondija, Tarrege i Albeniza. Međutim, lokalni kritičar zasuo ga je pohvalama osobito zbog "nepoznatih bisera iz Hrvatske", kako je nazvao Mediteransku suitu Željka Brkanovića te skladbe za gitaru Stjepana Šuleka, Borisa Papandopula i Frane Paraća koje je Bulat predstavio talijanskoj publici. Ove će godine Srđan Bulat nastupiti i na Zagrebačkim ljetnim večerima, 13. srpnja, u festivalskom ciklusu Mlade hrvatske zvijezde. Na recitalu u crkvi sv.
