Dina Rizvić
Dina Rizvić was born in a lovely Croatian town of Labin, in Istrian peninsula. She is not only a fine singer, but also a surprisingly good instrumentalist on several different instruments. At the moment, as recipient of “Berklee college of music” scholarship, she finished her first year in Boston and is majoring in contemporary songwriting and production, educating in many different genres from jazz improvisation, writing for big and small bands, productiofn classes, orchestras and songwriting classes. Besides Croatian folk tunes and belcanto, she is singing, composing and playing pop, rock, funk, and jazz.

Dina Rizvic is a singer/songwriter, composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist from Croatia born on June 8th, 1993. She began to play synthesizer at the age of five and by the age of six started her classical musical education and finished primary and high school for piano and percussion, plays guitar and sings.



In 2009 she attended “Summer Jazz School” in Groznjan that was held by a well-known Croatian vibraphone player Bosko Petrovic, also recognized worldwide in the contemporary jazz scene. With Bosko, as her mentor, she had many concerts and recorded a live album “The future of Croatian Jazz” which was published by “Croatia Records”.

Achievements/Awards

  • In 2009 attended “Imagine festival” contest where she won the prize for Best Young Upcoming Artist. It was held in Zagreb, organized by Croatian music youth.
  • Same year she was nominated from Croatian Musicians Union for a prestige Croatian award “Status” as a young upcoming artist.
  • 5 times hosted on national TV in talented musicians show led by Croatian conductor and composer, Zdravko ©ljivac
  • Hosted on national TV music show called “Time for jazz”, 2010.
  • Dean’s list for academic achievement on her first year of education on Berklee college of music
  • With only 12 years old she won 2nd award on an international competition young pianists “Ars Nova” in Trieste, 2005.
  • 1st award on regional and state competition in solfege, 2011.
  • 2nd award on regional competition in percussion playing, 2010.
  • 3rd award on 2nd international competition of young pianists in Zagreb, 2002.


By the end of 2009 with “Croatia Records” she recorded and released her first singer/songwriter album “Without Defeat” (Bez poraza). The producer of her album is Olja Desic. Dina performed in Vatroslav Lisinski, the most prestige concert hall in Zagreb, and had numerous concerts throughout Croatia and Slovenia. Already at a young age, she was recognized and has proven her quality through numerous collaborations with Croatian and International authors and performers. She is an active member of “Big Band Poľega”, collaborating with “Red Light Studio” in Zagreb and “Hard-Work Studio” in Poľega where she sharpens her natural gifted skills
