Nikola Knez Producer and Film Director. 20 years of US & overseas hands-on experience and proven expedition skills in hotspots and major destinations worldwide. His professional skills have been utilized extensively by agencies and organizations in the US including the Sasakawa Center for International Space Architecture at the University of Houston, The Clinton Birthplace Museum, the Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Corpus Christi, WorkForce Solutions of the Coastal Bend, Texas A&M University, the Nueces County Community Supervision and Corrections Department, Rotary Club International and the Port of Corpus Christi. He is founder of the 1st and 2nd International Conferences on Youth & Education at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi www.21stcenturysociety.org. He’s founder of the St. Mary Foundation of the Island Mljet www.zakladasvetemarije.hr, United Croatia, Croatian Society for Children's Human Rights and Croatian Society for Eco Tourism. He wrote several screenplays and two children books. He has three patented inventions. His solid, long-standing relationship with WorkForce Solutions of the Coastal Bend has included producing promotional films, training films and public service announcements. The interactive film for Leadership Corpus Christi and the Chamber of Commerce showcases more than a dozen major industrial and petro-chemical enterprises in the region, including Valero Refinery, CITGO, OxyChem, Flint Hills, Trigeant Petroleum, Sherwin Alumina, DuPont, Air Liquide, Lyondell, Gulf Marine, Kiewit, and the Port of Corpus Christi. All of these required security clearance. He was educated in Croatia where he produced a vast variety of films for Croatian National Television, Croatian National Music Hall, the Croatian National Theatre, the Croatian Drama Theatre and industrial enterprises in Germany and Croatia. In addition, he organized the numerous pop and rock concerts, stage setups for several Samsung Europa Trade promotional events, as well as major events for presidential campaigns in Croatia. Nikola is energetic, self-starting, and involved directly with all aspects of production. Most importantly, he is a team player with finely honed social skills. He works with enthusiasm, pleasure, easily and respectfully with colleagues. He has a fine ability to listen and understand clients' needs and desires which results in products that satisfy the objectives and goals set. His aim is to see the full picture and follow through personally to assure that all elements are in place to make each product a success. This results in work that is fast-paced and has been described by experts as effortlessly fluid. He takes a dynamic, refreshingly original yet classically trained approach to film and TV production that is exciting in its powerful use of visual effects and 3D animation. Extensive experience in video recording, editing, 3D animation, and special effects, as well as equipment ordering, operation, and maintenance.
